Art Direction and concept: Red Design
We worked with Red Design to create a set of environments within the [EMAP] E map offices to inspire and inform the judges of the [EMAP] Emap philosophy in a bid to win the Media week sales team of the year.
Initial ideas from Red Design were developed in a brain storming session with EMAP, after which we had five days between conception of the idea and installation on site.
We created three tableaus within the dining area of their offices to spell out three words; Culture, Creativity and Insight. Each letter from these words was created in a different way to create a visual language based on the theme of construction, as the EMAP offices were being re-fitted at the time.
After a presentation in this room, certain letters were then taken from these displays by the judges and brought through into a conference room where they were fitted into another display to spell out the word engagement. A presentation was then given by the sales team whom we had kitted out in Hi – Vis tabards and hard hats.
The event was a great success, with the originality of the presentation praised in the judges citation and caused minimal disruption to a very busy office with maximum impact!
